New NZ Insulation Rules 2023
New Zealand introduced new insulation rules for newly built homes and these come into effect during 2023. New Zealand has now been split into six climate zones instead of three. Auckland is in zone one. The requirements of roofs and underfloors are different as well. Please see the details or contact us for more information.

General
- The quotation estimated for the job is valid for 30 days from the date quoted. All prices quoted are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
- All ceilings and work areas above 3.0m to be scaffolded by main contractor/ owner.
- Clean and clear access to work areas is required for all PGFL Insulation works.
- The quote and schedule is based upon the plans, specification and or information provided. Any variation to the here-in tendered project will need to be repriced.
- Alternative products and specifications can be quoted upon request. Substitution: Where product supply or redundancy issues of specified brands arise, PGFL Insulation warrants that alternative utilized will meet or exceed specification.
- Other than by prior arrangement all payment claims, and payments will be in strict accordance with Construction Contracts Act 2002.
- Ownership of goods does not pass to the purchaser until payment made in full.
- Acceptance of this quotation is deemed acceptance of the standard PGFL Insulation Terms and Conditions of Trade.
- The person/ owner(s) accept the quotation are hereafter referred to as the Guarantor(s). The Guarantor(s) agree that upon demand they will make immediate payment of all and any monies which are now or at any time become payable to PGF Limited by the customer. The Guarantor(s) liability shall be for all monies and not be limited to any amount.
- Accounts unpaid by the due date will incur late payment interest on a daily basis at the rate of 3% per month as from the date due for payment until payment is received by the company.
- Any expenses costs or disbursements incurred by PGF Ltd in Recovering any outstanding Monies including debt collection agency fees or solicitor’s costs shall be paid by the Guarantor(s).
Heat pumps & Fans
- One year warranty offered for the bathroom fan/ range hood from the installation date. Ts&Cs apply.
- Five years warranty offered for the air-conditioning from the installation date. Ts&Cs apply.
- Repair guarantee fails when damage is caused by man-made or outside influence.
- Regular maintenance is vital for heat pump proper operation.
- Warranty does not apply if the faulty caused by the dirt which block the air filter or the outdoor condenser is blocked by any leaves, paper, or any other kinds of dirt.
- General service once a year of the heat pump by the professional technician is highly recommended.
